Light to moderate rain expected in several districts
According to the Meteorological Center, light to moderate rain and thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds are expected in several districts of the state until September 27. Conditions are beginning to develop for the withdrawal of the southwest monsoon, which will cause variable weather in many parts of the state. According to meteorologists, the monsoon trough is currently shifting towards the Himalayan foothills. Moisture-laden easterly winds are blowing over North Bihar and surrounding areas, creating conditions for rainfall. Moisture is continuously entering the state from the Bay of Bengal, leading to cloud formation.

The Meteorological Department stated that moderate rainfall is expected at isolated places in several districts between September 25th and 27th, particularly in northeastern and southern Bihar. Thunderstorms and strong winds (30-40 km/h) are likely in parts of south-central, eastern, northeastern, and southern Bihar on September 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th. Heavy rainfall is also expected at isolated places in Araria, Purnia, Kishanganj, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Jamui, and Banka on September 25th, 26th, and 27th. The weather department said that the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to drop by up to three degrees Celsius over the next two to three days. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 30-36 degrees Celsius and the minimum between 24-28 degrees Celsius.
