Chief Minister Announces Projects Worth ₹767 Crore for Jaisinghnagar and Beohari,    Bypass to be constructed in Jaisinghnagar - Budwa Hospital to be upgraded

Shahdol, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav unveiled the statue of Mata Shabari in Gandhia village of Beohari assembly constituency in Shahdol district. Addressing a large public gathering on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that we will all carry forward the glorious history of Mata Shabari's devotion. Lord Shri Ram spent more than 11 years of his exile in Chitrakoot, on the sacred land of Vindhya. Lord Ram's sacred feet also touched Gandhia village, and he gave darshan to Mata Shabari. Our government respects the Sanatan tradition. We are paving the way for development from our heritage. After waiting for a thousand years, the Somnath temple was rebuilt on the initiative of the then President Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Sardar Patel. Ayodhya, Somnath, and Ujjain are our heritage. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for construction projects worth ₹767 crore at the ceremony.
The Chief Minister said that pleased with Mata Shabari's devotion, Lord Ram gave her darshan and lovingly ate the berries she had tasted. Lord Ram gave the Bhil woman Mata Shabari the same respect as he gave to his mother, Mata Kaushalya. The Chief Minister said that God has gifted Shahdol, Beohari, and Jaisinghnagar areas with unparalleled natural beauty. This region is the home of Mother Narmada. Our government is continuously striving for the development of this region. ₹2300 crore has been sanctioned for Budhar, Gohparu, and Jaisinghnagar micro-irrigation projects. This irrigation project will make the farmers of the region prosperous. A bypass will be constructed in Jaisinghnagar on the Rewa-Shahdol road. An industrial development center will be constructed between Beohari and Jaisinghnagar, which will provide employment opportunities to thousands of youth. Budwa Health Center will be upgraded to a 30-bed hospital. Amidst the applause of the public, the Chief Minister announced that Gandhia village and Sitamarhi will be developed as centers of religious faith and tourism. The Chief Minister said that a new gate will be opened towards Beohari to promote tourism in the Sanjay Tiger Reserve. After testing, Amadih sub-tehsil will be upgraded to a tehsil.
The Chief Minister said that they are continuously working for women's empowerment; beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna scheme are being given Rs. 1500 every month. Prime Minister Modi is honoring farmers by providing them with Kisan Samman Nidhi. The double-engine government at the center and state is rapidly carrying out development work in the state, and for this, we congratulate our यशस्वी (successful) Prime Minister. Continuous efforts are being made to double the income of farmers. Our government has provided irrigation facilities to 10 lakh hectares of land in just two years. Shahdol has been given the gift of a medical college. Programs are being continuously organized in honor of tribal heroes and martyrs. Our tribal heroes fought bravely against the British. At the ceremony, the Chief Minister honored the daughters by performing Kanya Pujan (worship of girls). The Chief Minister distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes.
The Chief Minister visited the Sitamarhi temple and offered prayers to Lord Ram. Upon arriving at the ceremony venue, the Chief Minister was welcomed with traditional tribal Shaila and Karma dances and was presented with a traditional tribal turban.
At the ceremony, MP Sidhi Dr. Rajesh Mishra said that in the Treta Yuga, Lord Ram's sacred feet had touched this land. Today, the Chief Minister has blessed the area by unveiling the statue of Mata Shabari and giving gifts of development. The MP put forward various demands, including the construction of a four-lane road from Katni to Singrauli via Beohari, and the establishment of an industrial center. At the ceremony, MLA Jaisinghnagar Smt. Manisha Singh thanked the Chief Minister for the various development projects for the area. Welcoming the Chief Minister at the ceremony, MLA Beohari Shri Sharad Juglal ​​Kol said that after a wait of 70 years, the Chief Minister has visited this place. The Chief Minister has given many gifts to the Shahdol region, including irrigation facilities. The availability of irrigation facilities will lead to rapid development in agriculture. The MLA put forward several demands related to the development of the area. The Chief Minister inspected the exhibitions of various departments set up at the venue.
The function was attended by District Panchayat President Mrs. Prabha Mishra, Vice President Mrs. Phoolwati Singh, Janpad President Jaisinghnagar Mrs. Malti Singh, Janpad President Beohari Mrs. Akankshi Singh, Member District Planning Committee Mrs. Amita Chapra, local public representatives, and a large number of common people. Commissioner Mrs. Surbhi Gupta, IG Ms. Chaitra N., Collector Dr. Kedar Singh, Superintendent of Police Ramji Srivastava, CEO District Panchayat Shivam Prajapati, and other administrative officers were also present at the function.
