Prashant Kishore, founder of Jan Suraj, has made a major statement on Bihar politics. He says that more than 60% of people in Bihar want political change.

Prashant Kishore said, "We estimate that more than 60% of people in Bihar want political change. For the last 30-35 years, political dynasties have been prevalent here, where people vote for Nitish Kumar out of fear of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Lalu Prasad Yadav out of fear of the BJP. People want to break out of this cycle."

Regarding Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav's derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Modi's mother in meetings, he said, "The behavior of RJD leaders reflects their working style. They resort to abuse and slander, which is nothing new; they are continuing in the same pattern."

Where can PK contest elections?

Prashant Kishor has hinted that he may contest the upcoming assembly elections from either Kargahar (Rohtas) or Raghopur (Vaishali). Kishor stated that only two places are meaningful for contesting elections: his birthplace and his work place. Kishor stated that Kargahar, his birthplace, and Raghopur, his work place, would be his choice. Kishor stated that if he contested the elections, he would contest against Tejashwi Yadav; otherwise, there would be no point in contesting from another place. Regarding the possibility of contesting against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he stated that Kumar practices behind-the-scenes politics, and that if Kumar were contesting the elections himself, he would have contested against him.
