Delhiites Receive a Major Gift on the Government's First Anniversary, 500 EV Buses Will Make Traveling Even More Pleasant

Delhiites received a major gift today from the historic Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Naveen and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta flagged off 500 new electric buses. This move is being considered a major achievement towards modernizing and pollution-free public transport in Delhi.

During the event, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta reiterated her commitment to the public. She acknowledged that Delhi faces significant challenges, as basic problems have been neglected for a long time.

What Did Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Say?

The Chief Minister said, "I know the path is difficult and the work is immense. But I assure the people of Delhi that I will not let your trust be broken. Projects that have been stalled for years will now be completed at full speed."

"A Big Gift for Delhiites"

BJP President Nitin Naveen expressed his gratitude to the people of Delhi and said that after a 27-year struggle, the BJP government has been formed in Delhi. He described these electric buses as a gift for the people of Delhi.

The arrival of these buses will have two major benefits. First, it will reduce pollution. E-buses are the most effective way to keep Delhi's air clean because they emit no smoke.

Relief from Traffic Jams
Second, it will also alleviate the problem of traffic jams. Nitin Naveen said that when the public transport system is strengthened, private vehicles are less likely to ply on the roads, which automatically reduces the problem of traffic jams.

Targeting the Previous Government
In his speech, Nitin Naveen launched a scathing attack on the previous Aam Aadmi Party government. He compared the previous government's plans to paper horses, meaning that the previous government's plans were confined to files.

He said, "Earlier, there was a government that only made promises, but Rekha Gupta's government is working on the ground. In just one year of its tenure, development is visible on the streets of Delhi."

Rejuvenation of the Yamuna

Recalling his old memories of Delhi, the BJP President also discussed the condition of the Yamuna River. He said, "I studied in Delhi. There was a time when I was hesitant to even call the Yamuna a river. But now, thanks to the resolve of Prime Minister Modi and the dedication of the Delhi government, the work of cleaning the Yamuna is going on at a war footing." He expressed satisfaction with the improved condition of the Yamuna during the recent Chhath Puja.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana

Criticizing the previous government, he said that central public welfare schemes were previously blocked in Delhi. However, the Rekha Gupta government, in its very first cabinet meeting, approved the Ayushman Yojana, giving the public the right to free medical treatment.

The introduction of a fleet of 500 electric buses on the roads is a sign of Delhi's changing landscape. The government's aim is no longer just rhetoric, but to implement basic public amenities like clean air, clean Yamuna and better transportation.
