Grand Celebration Held in Chopra Village as Part of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Jayanti Fortnight

Damoh, Under the Sant Shiromani Ravidas Jayanti fortnight-long celebrations, a grand event was organized in Am Chopra village to celebrate Sant Shiromani Ravidas Jayanti with devotion and enthusiasm. Thousands of devotees and community members participated in the Jayanti celebrations. It is noteworthy that while a grand procession was taken out at the district headquarters, the celebration of the Jayanti as a fortnight-long event in Chopra village generated special enthusiasm in the area.
During the program, Janaki Devi presented bhajans based on the life, thoughts, and social messages of Sant Shiromani Ravidas, which deeply moved the assembled crowd. Following the bhajans, cultural programs presented by young children captivated everyone. The audience encouraged the children with thunderous applause for their performances.

Minister of State Pradeep Ahirwar was specially present at the Jayanti celebrations. In his address, he said that it is a matter of great joy that Sant Shiromani Ravidas Jayanti is being celebrated as a fortnight-long event. He said that usually, Jayanti is celebrated for one day, but this type of event unites the community. He assured that he would definitely participate in community programs in the future if invited.
Notable Presence of Community Members
Along with the minister, Organization General Secretary Rameshwar Chaudhary, Sanjay Ahirwal, Bhagwandas Chaudhary, Gangaram Chaudhary, Parasnath, members of the organizing committee, Engineer Amit Kumar, Asaram Chaudhary, Dr. Chakresh Chaudhary, Sanjeev Chaudhary, D.K. Dharmendra, Pravendra Chandrakar, and a large number of community members were present at the program.
The organizing committee welcomed and honored all the guests and appealed to everyone to adopt the teachings of Sant Shiromani Ravidas in their lives.
