Young man attacked with knife near postmortem house in Katni, two accused arrested
Katni Police arrested two youths, Akash Vishwakarma and Krishna Khatik, for stabbing a man near the district hospital postmortem house due to old enmity. The injured victim, Harsh Yadav, was referred to Jabalpur after first aid. Investigation is ongoing.

Katni, Police has arrested two accused who attacked a young man with a knife near the postmortem house located in Katni district hospital premises. The incident is from Kotwali police station area. Katni Additional SP Santosh Deharia said that Harsh Yadav, a resident of Rangnath police station area, had gone to the postmortem house located behind the district hospital for some work. During this time, some youths attacked him with a knife due to old enmity. Seriously injured Harsh was immediately brought to the district hospital, where after first aid he was referred to Jabalpur. Police became active as soon as the information of the incident was received and started searching for the accused and arrested Akash Vishwakarma and Krishna Khatik from near Gayatri Nagar culvert. At present, both the accused are being interrogated and detailed investigation of the case is going on. The same Additional SP Santosh Deharia said that the youth who was attacked with a knife had earlier also attacked the accused youth Akash Vishwakarma with a knife, due to which Akash, along with one of his friends, had attacked him with a knife and injured him.
