Indore, A two-story building collapsed in Daulatganj, near Jawahar Marg Jhanda Chowk, Indore, at 9 p.m. on Monday. The incident caused panic in the area. People from the surrounding area rushed to help, but there were no arrangements to remove the debris.
The Municipal Corporation's removal team and the police administration arrived at the scene. By 10:30 p.m., six injured people had been pulled from the debris using three JCBs. According to experts, six families lived in the building. The injured were taken to MY Hospital.
How did the accident happen?
According to municipal officials, the building was constructed illegally. Experts believe the building collapsed six to seven years ago. Experts believe the collapse was caused by weakened pillars. The rescue of the injured continued late into the night. The SDERF team also carried out rescue operations at the spot and Collector Shivam Verma also reached the spot.
