Under this campaign, the general public is being made aware of AIDS in every village. Jagdish Khinchi, an employee of the Health Department, while explaining to the general public, explained that HIV is a virus, while AIDS is the name of a group of diseases caused by this virus. The main reason for the spread of HIV AIDS is unsafe sex / and shared use of infected needles or syringes / or transfusion of infected blood or blood products. The ways to avoid the disease from an infected mother to her unborn children / and your partner are as follows, 1, loyalty to your partner, 2, sexual relations 1. Use condom correctly and every time during pregnancy, 2. Use only blood tested from a licensed blood bank, 3. Use new or disposable needles and syringes every time, 4. Get HIV tested during pregnancy and get appropriate treatment in case of being HIV positive. Khichi has said that caution is its cure. This disease does not spread through shaking hands, eating together, coughing, sneezing, or through air or mosquito bites. The main reason for the spread of this disease is that there are four ways for the HIV virus to reach from one person to another. Number one is unprotected sexual contact with an HIV infected person; the second reason is re-use of HIV infected syringes and needles; the third reason is transfusion of HIV infected blood; the fourth reason is the transmission of HIV infected blood from a pregnant mother to her child. The general public has to be cautious about these reasons. This campaign is being run in every village and all the districts of the state as per the instructions of National AIDS Control Organization, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
