New Delhi, In the meeting of the National Executive of Republican Party of India (Athawale) held at Naveen Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi, the members of the National Executive unanimously and unopposedly re-elected Ramdas Athawale to the post of National President.

On this occasion, National President Ramdas Athawale said that providing justice to all sections including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, poor, farmers, laborers, women is the main priority of RPI and to spread the thoughts of Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji to the people, efforts will be made together with all the officials to strengthen the RPI organization at the village level including all the states, metros, districts of the country.

'RPI should get national status'

Ramdas Athawale appealed to the RPI workers that in order to get the Republican Party of India the status of a national level party in the next 5 years, all the workers of RPI should make every effort to strengthen the organization by running a membership campaign.

As per the pre-scheduled program, on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the National Executive meeting was held at Naveen Maharashtra Sadan, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi, in which the presidents of all the states across the country, state in-charges and the office bearers of the National Executive were present. On this occasion, under the election process of the party, due to the sole nomination of Ramdas Athawale for the post of National President, Election Officer and Legal Advisor Shri B.K. Barve declared Ramdas Athawale re-elected as the National President unopposed.

'The party has reached every village'

After the meeting of the National Executive, Ramdas Athawale while talking to journalists said that the first priority will be to reach the party to every village and to achieve this goal, a membership campaign will be run on a large scale.

Ramdas Athawale said that RPI will run a nationwide movement to provide basic facilities including permanent houses to the residents of slums. He said that I thank the country's successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of crores of party workers for including RPI in the cabinet of the Government of India.

He expressed gratitude to the RPI workers and all the office bearers for being re-elected to the post of National President and said that it is due to the struggle and hard work of all of you that I have got the responsibility of public service along with the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah ji. Through this, every effort will be made to provide employment to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, farmers, youth and women through cooperatives and other public welfare schemes of the Central Government, including economic empowerment of the last person and social justice.

'The target is to strengthen the organization'

Ramdas Athawale appealed to all the members present in the executive meeting to win the trust of the common man by fighting for social justice under the leadership of RPI to solve the local problems of their state, district, and region and participate in strengthening the organization. On this occasion, all the office bearers of the National Executive including the National Executive President of the party Dr. Venkat Swamy ji, National General Secretary of the party and former Minister of Maharashtra Government Hon. Avinash Mahtekar ji, office bearers of the committees of South India, Northeast India and North India, Central India, Presidents of various fronts and Presidents of all states/union territories were present in the meeting.
It is worth noting that under the leadership of the National President of Republican Party of India, Ramdas Athawale, a strong organization of RPI is active in all the states and union territories of the country and in the states of Manipur and Nagaland, RPI is recognized as a state level political party by the Election Commission of India.
