Khajuraho MP VD Sharma led cleanliness, blood donation, and Swadeshi awareness drives in Katni on PM Modi’s birthday, urging citizens to support self-reliance.

Katni, Former state president and Khajuraho MP Vishnudutt Sharma, who arrived in Katni, participated in a mass voluntary labor campaign as part of the Swachhata Seva Pakhwada (Cleanliness Service Fortnight) this morning. VD Sharma led a cleanliness drive at the Amirganj pond and administered a pledge of cleanliness to local citizens and schoolchildren present there. He then attended a blood donation camp organized to commemorate the Prime Minister's birthday at the Katni District Day Plan and District Hospital.
Following this, former state president of the BJP and Khajuraho MP Vishnudutt Sharma launched a special campaign in the Katni market to promote Swadeshi and raise awareness among shopkeepers. In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, VD Sharma urged traders to display Swadeshi goods outside their homes and shops. In this effort, he personally put up stickers and boards at shops and, together with traders, furthered the Swadeshi campaign. On this occasion, MP Sharma said that increasing the sale and use of indigenous products is essential to making India self-reliant. He noted that Prime Minister Modi has urged citizens to purchase goods that reflect the hard work of Indians. Katni's merchants also welcomed this initiative and pledged to install "Swadeshi" signs outside their shops.
