A video from the Jharra Tikuria neighborhood in the Rangnath police station area of ​​Katni is going viral on social media. The video shows two groups fighting with sticks and rods. The video is from late at night on the second day of Diwali. The dispute arose over the lighting of firecrackers. This dispute soon escalated into a violent clash involving sticks and rods. Six people from both groups were injured in the incident and have been admitted to the district hospital. The condition of one young man is reported to be critical. Police have registered a case against both groups and launched an investigation.

Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Deharia said that according to the police, the dispute began when a young man named Gokul Pasi was lighting loud firecrackers in front of his house. He had an altercation with Vijay Pasi and his family members from the other group. This minor altercation quickly escalated into a major dispute, with both sides attacking each other with sticks and rods. People from both sides were injured in this violent clash. Gokul Pasi, Rajkumar Pasi, and Arvind Pasi were injured on one side, while Vijay Pasi, Ankit Pasi, and Ajay Pasi were injured on the other side. All the injured were immediately rushed to the district hospital for treatment, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
