Patna, Bihar is in the election political heat. The round of allegations and counter-allegations is going on continuously. Meanwhile, the troubles of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav seem to be increasing. On Friday, a case was registered against him in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra for posting objectionable posts about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now the news is coming that a case has been registered against him in Uttar Pradesh as well.

After Gadchiroli in Maharashtra, cases have been registered against Tejashwi in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh for allegedly making objectionable and indecent comments on social media against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This legal action against him is being considered a big setback, especially when the assembly elections in Bihar are near.

4 sections against Tejashwi in Maharashtra

On the complaint of BJP MLA Milind Ramji Narote in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, Gadchiroli Police on Friday registered an FIR against Tejashwi Yadav. A senior police officer said that Tejashwi is accused of posting objectionable and insulting posts against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on X. A case has been registered against him under Section 196 (promoting enmity between different groups), Section 356 (defamation), Section 352 (intentional insult with intent to disturb peace), and Section 353 (statements affecting public order) of the Indian Penal Code.

Now case in Uttar Pradesh too

At the same time, a case has been registered against Tejashwi Yadav in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh under similar charges. The Sadar Bazar police station took this action on the complaint of Shahjahanpur BJP Metropolitan President Shilpi Gupta. Shilpi Gupta alleged that Tejashwi made indecent comments against the Prime Minister on social media, which hurt public sentiments. In this case, the police took immediate action and registered an FIR, which has further increased Tejashwi's legal troubles.

It will have an impact on Bihar elections

These cases registered against Tejashwi Yadav can bring a new turn in Bihar politics. Tejashwi Yadav is busy strengthening his party in this Bihar election. But, legal cases can become a challenge for him in this election. Such cases can not only affect his image but can also affect his party's strategy in the upcoming assembly elections.

What did Tejashwi say?

No official statement has been issued by Tejashwi Yadav yet. His supporters say that this action is politically motivated. Its purpose is to weaken the opposition. On the other hand, BJP leaders called these cases serious and said that no person has the right to make indecent comments against the Prime Minister of the country.
