Nearly two dozen passengers injured after bus overturns, 108 ambulance promptly transports injured to hospital
A bus overturned near Abhaypur, Shajapur, killing one woman and injuring 25 laborers. Victims were rushed to hospital as police began investigation.

A bus lost control and overturned in Abhaypur, near Panwadi, Shajapur, around 4 a.m. on Sunday, injuring 25 passengers and killing one woman. Upon receiving information about the accident, a team from the 108 ambulance service immediately arrived at the scene. According to reports, the speeding bus overturned on the side of the road near Abhaypur village on the highway. The bus was traveling from Jamnagar, Gujarat, to Indragarh, Datia. Gayatri Bai, wife of Omprakash, a resident of Akbarpur, UP, died in the accident, while more than 25 passengers, including women and children, were injured.
All the passengers on the bus were laborers. After receiving first aid at the scene, the injured were transported to the Shajapur District Hospital by ambulance. The prompt action of EMT Ram Singh Mewara and pilot Ritesh Malviya in transporting the injured to the hospital was commendable. Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Local people also cooperated in the rescue.
