HIV/AIDS Intensive Awareness Campaign in aMandsaur, Health Department organized public awareness camp in village Khadpaliya and Lodakheda

Under Collector Aditi Garg’s guidance, Mandsaur Health Department launched an HIV/AIDS Intensive Campaign from 12 Aug to 12 Oct 2025. Awareness camps in Khadpaliya and Lodakheda villages educated people on HIV prevention, free testing, and treatment facilities available at block and district hospitals.

Mandsaur, Under the HIV/AIDS Intensive Campaign, under the guidance of Collector Madam Mrs. Aditi Garg and in the presence of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. GS Chauhan and HIV/AIDS Nodal Officer Dr. Nishant Sharma Mandsaur, a public awareness camp was organized in village Khadpaliya and village Lodakheda Block Malhargarh District Mandsaur. This campaign will run from 12 August 2025 to 12 October 2025. Intensive awareness campaign will run in every village and every block. Under this campaign, the general public is being made aware of AIDS in every village. Jagdish Khinchi, employee of the Health Department, while explaining to the general public, said that public representatives, social organizations, the general public will have to come forward and fulfill the responsibility of public awareness among the people, only then this disease can be stopped. Khinchi said that HIV is a virus while AIDS is the name of a group of diseases caused by this virus. The main reason for the spread of HIV AIDS is, 1 Unsafe sex, 2, Using HIV infected syringes 3 HIV By using infected blood or blood products, 4. The child born to a pregnant woman

In case of being HIV positive, appropriate treatment is available. The government has made arrangements for its free testing at every block and district hospital.

Khichi has said that caution is its treatment. This disease does not spread by shaking hands, eating together, coughing, sneezing or through air, mosquito bites.

Many eminent citizens of the village were present on the occasion. Village Sarpanch Mr. Karan Singh Dayama and eminent citizens were present. Health department employees, supervisor CHO Rahul Kumar Chaudhary, HIV counselor Antim Bala Jain, ANM Asha Sahayogi Asha worker etc. were present.
