Daughters are never a burden, daughters should have all the fun: Dr. Sohan Lal Gohra, Birthday of 42 girls was celebrated with great pomp in Khedi Ghulam Ali School
Kaithal's Government Senior Secondary School Khedi Ghulam Ali celebrated the birthdays of 42 daughters born in July and August with great joy. Chief Guest Dr. Sohan Lal Sharma Soni blessed the daughters and presented gifts. The program included cake cutting, poems, mid-day meal and inspirational messages to honour the daughters.

Kaithal, Birthday of 42 daughters born in July and August was celebrated with great joy under the banner of Education Department in Government Senior Secondary School Khedi Ghulam Ali. On this occasion, a felicitation program was organized in the school and special mid-day meal was served to all the students.
The special thing about the program was that all the daughters were honored by wearing Happy Birthday caps and garlands and their faces lit up with happiness. Eyes of many girls became moist with happiness. On this special day, the girls expressed their happiness by cutting the cake.
Prominent social worker, poet and Ayurvedic doctor Sohanlal Sharma Soni of Gohra participated in the program as the chief guest. He blessed all the daughters and wished them a bright future. Also, registers and pens were presented to the girls on their birthday. Dr. Sohanlal presented a poem dedicated to daughters in Haryanvi style from the stage—
“Daughters are never a burden, daughters make all the fun,
They fill the family's pockets, Daughters are not a burden…
School Principal Harpal Singh said that celebrating daughters' birthdays in school is a matter of pride and this moment will always be memorable. He said that such an initiative is inspiring for the society.
Government Middle School Khanpur's in-charge Rekha Devi expressed her views and said that this birthday celebration of daughters will also be an unforgettable moment in her life. The stage was conducted by Haryanvi poet and Hindi professor Satbir Singh.
On this occasion, student Tamanna expressed happiness and said that for the first time in 15 years the school has celebrated my birthday, this moment will be remembered for my entire life. Student Anshika took a pledge to plant a tree on her birthday. Student Riya said that celebrating her birthday in this way added to her happiness.
Devendra, who attended the program, also congratulated the daughters. On this occasion, the Principal Dr. Sohan Lal, Devendra and Rekha Devi were honoured with mementoes. Dr. Sohan Lal donated Rs. 5100 to the school.
NCC officer Sachin Dhiman said that today's daughters are serving the country by becoming officers in the army and are fulfilling their dreams.
Professor Pawan, Navjeet, Ramesh, Ravindra, Jai Gopal, Madam Chinu Sharma, Mamta Nagpal, Mahesh and JE Deepak Goyal had a commendable contribution in making this birthday program successful.
