After JDU and BJP, RJD Takes Action, Expels 18 of Its Leaders
RJD expels 18 leaders, including MLAs and ex-MLAs, for anti-party activities ahead of Bihar Assembly elections 2025. Major shake-up in Bihar politics.
Following the Janata Dal (United) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has expelled 18 of its leaders from the party. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) stated that these individuals were involved in anti-party behavior, activities, and activities that were detrimental to the party, and therefore, this action has been taken against them. These leaders and workers have been expelled from the primary membership of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for six years.
The RJD leaders expelled by the party include Chhote Lal Rai, MLA from Patna Parsa, Ritu Jaiswal from Parihar, Ram Prakash Mahato, former RJD MLA from Katihar, Anil Sahni, former RJD MLA from Muzaffarpur, Saroj Yadav, former RJD MLA from Barhara in Bhojpur district, Ganesh Bharti, former MLC from Muzaffarpur, Mohammad Kamran, MLA from Govindpur, Anil Yadav, former RJD MLA from Narpatganj, and Akshay Lal Yadav, former candidate from Chiraiya.
Besides these names, there are some other names that the Rashtriya Janata Dal has expelled from the party. They include Ram Sakha Mahato, who held the responsibility of District General Secretary in Cheria Bariarpur, Begusarai district; Avnish Kumar, State Council member in Bhagalpur district; Bhagat Yadav of Sherghati in Gaya district; Mukesh Yadav of Sandesh in Bhojpur district; Sanjay Rai, who held the responsibility of District General Secretary in Vaishali district; Kumar Gaurav, Vice President of Extremely Backward Cell in Darbhanga; and District General Secretary Rajiv Kushwaha. Also included in the list are Mahesh Prasad Gupta, District President of the Business Cell in Jalore, and Vakil Prasad Yadav.
