Patna, Mahatma Gandhi's great-grandson Tushar Gandhi said that today the condition of Bihar has become worse than Bapu's time. He said that he feels deeply saddened to see the real condition of the villages. The government is busy only in publicity, while the ground reality is something else.

Tushar Gandhi reached Ratanouli village of Kudhni block of Muzaffarpur district on Monday under the Badlo Bihar Abhiyan. During this, he said that I have visited eight districts of North Bihar. Seeing the condition of the villages, I am feeling the same pain as Bapu felt during the Champaran movement in 1917. But today the situation is even worse than that.

He said that today for the first time in the whole country, questions are being raised on the functioning of the Election Commission. Raising the issue of SIR, he said that the common man needs to be vigilant because attempts are being made to snatch the right to vote. Tushar Gandhi said that today is the time to change the government. The public will have to remain alert not only till the government is formed but also after it is formed. We are going from village to village and making people aware so that they understand and fulfill their civic duty. This phase of Badlo Bihar Abhiyan will end on 23 August.
