Darbhanga administration denied permission for Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra night rest at Jeevchhaghat High School, shifting it to Fakhruddin Teacher Training College. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Tejashwi Yadav and M.K. Stalin likely to join the yatra in Bihar.

Darbhanga, Darbhanga district administration has taken a big decision regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra. The administration has refused to allow night rest in Jeevchhaghat High School campus. Now the night rest of the yatra will be in Fakhruddin Teacher Training College campus. Congress leader Dr. Madan Mohan Jha has confirmed this. He told that the program of the yatra will reach Darbhanga on the evening of 26 August as per the pre-determined schedule and will rest for the night. After this, the yatra will start from Jeevchhaghat at 8 am on 27 August. This yatra will leave for Muzaffarpur via NH-27 route via Gausaghat, Gangwara, Kathalbari, Bhandar Chowk, Bela Mod, Bagh Mod, Qadirabad Shivdhara and Bazaar Samiti.

Congress media in-charge Mohd. Aslam said that Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav will also join Rahul Gandhi in this yatra. Apart from this, CPI (ML) leader Dipankar Bhattacharya and leaders of many other parties will also be present. Former Legislative Councilor Dr. Madan Mohan Jha said that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is likely to join on August 26, while on August 27, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin may also participate in the yatra.
