Shajapur, Promoting indigenous products is every citizen's duty. Regional MLA Shri Arun Bhimavad stated this today at the inauguration of a four-day exhibition showcasing indigenous products at the local bus stand in the district headquarters. The exhibition was inaugurated by garlanding a picture of Goddess Saraswati and lighting a lamp.
On this occasion, Collector Ms. Riju Bafna, Superintendent of Police Mr. Yashpal Singh Rajput, Municipal Council Vice President Mr. Santosh Joshi, Sub-Divisional Officers of Shujalpur Mrs. Archana Kumari and Shajapur Ms. Manisha Vaskale, Deputy Collector Mr. Rajkumar Haldar, Ms. Ankita Patkar, Laghu Udyog Bharti's Mr. Dinesh Tiwari, Mr. Umesh Taylor, Mr. Ashish Nagar, Mr. Rameshchandra Patidar, Mr. Sheetal Bhavsar, Mr. Mukesh Dubey, along with a large number of dignitaries and public representatives were present.
In his address, Mr. Bhimavad MLA stated that the Seva Pakhwada is being observed across the state from September 17th to October 2nd, 2025. In addition to various activities, health camps are being organized to promote indigenous products and implement the "Healthy Women, Strong Family" campaign. Regarding the promotion of indigenous products, he urged the public to increase their self-reliance on indigenous products. To increase indigenous production in the country, the expansion of industrial establishments is being given top priority. Agricultural raw materials are abundantly available in Shajapur district. Industries can be set up using these. She also called for organizing seminars for farmers to promote indigenous products.
Addressing the program, Collector Ms. Bafna stated that the Prime Minister of India has launched the "Vocal for Local" campaign to promote indigenous products. A four-day exhibition has been organized here to encourage all the products produced in Shajapur district. Everyone should encourage producers by purchasing indigenous products. Following this, all guests carefully observed the exhibition and purchased various items. In the afternoon, judges also visited the exhibition and purchased various products. The program was conducted by General Manager, Industries, Mr. Naveen Shukla.
22 stalls showcasing indigenous products were set up. Twenty-two participants participated in the exhibition of indigenous products at the district headquarters bus stand, showcasing their products. In the exhibition, two stalls of chilli-masala, papad, organic manure, animal material etc. have been set up by the National Rural Livelihood Mission. Similarly, stalls of food processing products were set up by a beneficiary of the Horticulture Department, cow products and organic spices by Shri Jairam Patidar Chakrod, a beneficiary of the Animal Husbandry Department, home furnishing items by ARSETI, sports items, pipe products, tissue paper production, water filter, flour, jute and spice production by 06 entrepreneurs of the Industry Department. An exhibition of multigrain, millets, Deepak Diya-Bati by 02 beneficiaries of the municipality, Khadi products by Shri Bhairulal Pushpak, beneficiary of Khadi Gram Udyog and salwar suit and saree by Siddhi Vinayak Self Help Group, knife cutting products by beneficiary Sachin Patidar, sports wear by Santhiya Welfare Society, cow products by Bhanwarsingh Rathore, raw oil mill by Baba Oilmill, organic food grains ancient wheat, black gram etc. by Sharad Bhandavat, raw oil mill oil, ghee, charcoal produced in the cowshed by Ms. Payal Patidar and products by Shri Manish Dubey Janshiksha Sansthan was organised.
