Upon arrival of National Secretary of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), Tejpal Singh Sehrawat in Moradabad, he was given a warm welcome by the Valmiki community and other communities at the Valmiki temple on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti. On his first visit to Moradabad after becoming the National Secretary, he offered flowers and prayed to the picture of Lord Valmiki. He said that we should move forward by drawing inspiration from the life and works of Maharishi Valmiki and adopting his ideals. His virtuous and idealistic thoughts have had a profound influence on our society and families since ancient times. His ideological light, based on social harmony, will always enlighten the countrymen.
He said that the state government is officially celebrating the birth anniversaries of all saints and great men across the state under the Sant Mahapurush Samman and Vichar Prasar Yojana. The younger generation should be included in such events so that future generations can learn about the messages of their gurus and great men and draw inspiration from them. Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti provides an opportunity to remember the life and works of the great sage and poet Valmiki. Maharishi Valmiki composed the great epic Ramayana, which is an important part of Indian culture and literature.
