Kanwariyas took oath of de-addiction, Police welcomed and served

During the Shravan month Kanwar Yatra in Anuppur, police conducted a de-addiction and traffic awareness campaign. Pilgrims pledged to stay away from drugs, received refreshments, and appreciated the support as a true form of Shiva devotion.

Anuppur, a unique scene was seen today among the Kanwar pilgrims who set out on the holy journey of Shravan month. In the de-addiction and traffic awareness campaign run by Traffic Highway Chowki under the direction of Superintendent of Police Anuppur, Kanwariyas were sworn in to stay away from drugs and snacks and water were also distributed on the way.

Highlights:

The pilgrims said – “No drugs, now devotion to Shiva and service is our religion”

The policemen welcomed the pilgrims and distributed light snacks

The message of safe journey was also given by giving information about traffic rules

The pilgrims appreciated the cooperation of the police and said –

“Such service is a form of devotion to Shiva”

Message: “Devotion, service and security – this is the true religion. Staying away from drugs and following the rules is the true offering to Shiva.”
