Mansaur, Under the HIV/AIDS Intensive Campaign, under the guidance of Collector Madam Mrs. Aditi Garg and in the presence of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. GS Chauhan and HIV/AIDS Nodal Officer Dr. Nishant Sharma Mandsaur, in village Nahargarh and village Suwasra Block Sitamau District Mandsaur, from 12 August 2025 to 12 October 2025, under the intensive awareness campaign, the general public is being made aware of AIDS in every village. While explaining to the general public on behalf of the Health Department, Jagdish Khinchi explained to the public that the main reason for the spread of HIV AIDS is unsafe sex and shared use of infected needles or syringes or transfusion of infected blood or blood products. The ways to avoid the disease from an infected mother to her children and your partner are as follows: Loyalty to your partner, use condoms correctly and every time during sexual relations and use only blood tested from a licensed blood bank, use new or disposable needles and syringes every time. Khinchi has said that Caution is its cure. This disease does not spread by shaking hands, eating together, coughing, sneezing, or through mosquito bites. The main reason for spreading this disease is that there are four ways for the HIV virus to reach from one person to another. Number one is unsafe sexual contact with an HIV infected person. The second reason is the reuse of HIV infected syringes and needles. The third reason is the transfusion of HIV infected blood. The fourth reason is the HIV infection of a pregnant mother to her unborn child. The general public has to be cautious in these reasons. This campaign is being run in every village and all districts of the state as per the instructions of the National AIDS Control Organization, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Many eminent citizens of the village were present on this occasion. On behalf of the Health Department, Dr. Jagdish Gehlot, Dr. Shakeel Mansuri, Bunty Dayama, etc. were present in Suwasra. Dr. Brijpal Singh Parihar, Dr. Ajay Patidar, STS, Mukesh Verma, etc. employees were present. All the villagers took an oath to be aware of HIV AIDS.
