Sidhi, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla inspected the District Hospital Sidhi and reviewed the health services and hospital facilities. He interacted with doctors and health workers and directed them to further improve treatment services. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that doctors are considered gods in society, and therefore, their behavior towards patients should also be full of sensitivity and service. He directed that all doctors and staff should adhere to punctuality and provide dedicated treatment to patients. Ensure the constant presence of doctors and paramedical staff in the emergency room as per their assigned duties.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, continuous efforts are being made to expand health services in the state. He stated that the opening of a 100-bed MCH wing at Sidhi District Hospital has increased the hospital's capacity from 300 to 400 beds, and adequate human resources are being arranged for this. He stated that the construction of the Critical Care Health Block, costing ₹16 crore, is progressing rapidly. The IPHL Lab is expected to be completed by February 2026, providing residents with access to 136 types of tests in one location. He also directed that the outsourced recruitment process in the district be resolved and completed expeditiously.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed special attention to the health of pregnant women, stating that timely registration and regular checkups should be mandatory so that high-risk pregnant women can be identified in a timely manner. Proper examinations by female specialist doctors should be ensured at the screening camps held on the 9th and 25th of every month. The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the need for sanitation, cleanliness, and adequate availability of essential medicines within the hospital premises. He stated that the shortage of doctors and paramedical staff would be addressed soon. The government's goal is to ensure that every citizen in the state receives timely, quality, and accessible healthcare services. He stated that the government is continuously taking concrete steps to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla directed the formation of a committee to conduct a transparent investigation into the use of funds received from the state government for infrastructure and equipment at the district hospital. He directed immediate necessary improvements to address the shortcomings identified in hospital management. He directed the Civil Surgeon and Chief Medical and Health Officer to maximize the use of available resources and ensure the delivery of excellent healthcare facilities to the public, in accordance with the government's vision. He categorically stated that negligence or indifference would not be tolerated. Member of Parliament Dr. Rajesh Mishra, MLA Mrs. Riti Pathak, and Mr. Devkumar Singh Chauhan, along with other public representatives, offered suggestions for strengthening the district's healthcare facilities. District Panchayat Sidhi Chairman Dharmendra Singh Parihar, along with doctors and prominent citizens, were present.
