Chief Minister Shri Sai's Japan visit, New dimensions of technology, business and culture for Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh's, Prior to Chhattisgarh's participation in Tokyo Osaka World Expo, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai started his Tokyo visit on 22nd August with a confluence of spirituality, technology and business diplomacy.

On reaching Tokyo, Chief Minister Shri Sai visited the historic Asakusa Temple. It is the oldest and most prestigious temple of Tokyo, which is considered a symbol of peace and strength. Chief Minister Shri Sai prayed at the temple and wished for the happiness, prosperity and continuous progress of the 3 crore people of Chhattisgarh. He said that just as this temple gives the message of peace and strength, the people of Chhattisgarh also aspire that Chhattisgarh should become a state full of peace, strength and prosperity and move towards sustainable development.

Steps towards innovation in information technology

The delegation led by Chief Minister Shri Sai met Ms. Kayo Ito, Chief Executive Officer of NTT Ltd. NTT is one of the world's top IT infrastructure and digital solutions companies with an annual revenue of US$ 90 billion and operating in more than 50 countries. The possibilities of technology-based investment in Chhattisgarh were discussed in this meeting. The Chief Minister emphasized on strengthening the digital ecosystem in the state. NTT is providing cutting-edge IT solutions including cloud computing and cyber security worldwide and remains a leading force in digital transformation.

Strengthening cultural relations and business partnerships

In the evening, Chief Minister Shri Sai and the delegation attended a formal dinner hosted by India's Ambassador to Japan, Shri Sibi George. The discussion held on this occasion emphasized the need to connect the Indo-Pacific countries through industry and trade. In this, the important role of economic stability, trade security, ecological balance and industrial growth was underlined. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that there are possibilities of extensive industrial cooperation by combining Japan's advanced technology and India's skilled manpower. He also emphasized on promoting cultural relations and presenting Chhattisgarh as an attractive tourist destination for Japanese tourists.

The first day of Chief Minister Shri Sai and his delegation was full of achievements. Important opportunities related to trade, technology and diplomacy were explored. These efforts took concrete steps towards establishing Chhattisgarh as an emerging hub of rapid industrial development, digital innovation and global partnerships.
