Taking another major step against Naxalism in the Naxal-affected Abujhmad region of Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, the Narayanpur Police and the ITBP have established a new security and public amenities camp in Ader village, under the Orchha police station. This camp has long been known as a hideout for top Maoist leaders.

About the Campaign

This initiative is part of the "Maad Bachao Abhiyan" campaign, which aims to curb Naxalite activities and bring development work to the interior villages. This is the 11th camp opened in Narayanpur within the last year.

Villager Participation
During the camp inauguration, Superintendent of Police Robinson Gudiya and other officials met with villagers from the surrounding villages—Ader, Dhodharbeda, Kudmel, Ipopara, Kondkoti, and Bhatbeda.

• Villagers demanded basic amenities such as electricity, water, health, education, and roads.

• The administration assured that these demands would be met by organizing a "Public Problem Resolution Camp" soon.

• Bus service will also be started soon to Ader.

Steps Towards Freedom from Naxalism

• Villagers, remembering their comrades killed in Naxalite violence, said that they can now expect a life free from fear.

• According to police sources, more than 200 Naxalites have surrendered in the last one and a half years.
• Due to continuous action by security forces, 99 Naxalites have been killed and 118 arrested.

New Path to Development

With the opening of the camp in Ader, road and bridge construction, education and health facilities, mobile network, and other public amenities in the area will now be rapidly expanded.

Key Role of Security Forces

The Narayanpur DRG, Bastar Fighters, and the 29th, 38th, 44th, and 45th Battalions of the ITBP played a key role in this operation. Despite heavy rains and difficult mountain roads, the forces established this camp, creating a new base of security.

Strategic Importance

The Ader camp is located 15 km from Orchha police station, 10 km from Adjoom, and 5 km south of Idwaya. It will also provide security to road construction work on the Orchha-Adjoom-Idwaya-Ader route.

The establishment of the police camp in Ader is not merely a sign of security forces' presence, but a symbol of renewed confidence and development for the villagers plagued by Naxalism. The administration hopes that this step will further loosen the grip of Naxalism and enable Ader and surrounding villages to rapidly integrate into the mainstream of development.
