Big news about Trump's health amid tariff war, JD Vance ready to take over as President?
Questions about Donald Trump’s health have intensified after visible injury marks and a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency. While the White House insists the US President is fit, Vice President JD Vance says he is fully prepared to step in if needed, assuring confidence in Trump’s ability to complete his term.
While Donald Trump wants to subdue the countries of the world with the excesses of tariff war, questions are now being raised about his health. On one hand, US Vice President JD Vance is ready to take over as the President of the United States in case of a 'terrible tragedy'. In an interview to USA Today, he said that President Donald Trump is in good health and is fit, but he is ready to take over in any changed circumstances. Vance's comment has come amid speculation about the health of the US President. Recently, injury marks were seen on the President's hand during a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung. However, Vance reiterated in the interview that the President's health is good and he will be able to complete the rest of his term.
"Best training": Vance
"I have every confidence that the President of the United States is in good shape, will serve out the rest of his term and will do great things for the American people," US Vice President JD Vance told USA Today. He further said that if a tragedy were to occur, he has received the "best training" and will be ready to take over the presidency. "And if, God forbid, a terrible tragedy were to occur, I can't think of a better training than what I've received over the last 200 days," 41-year-old JD Vance said.
Trump battling health problems
The White House had previously downplayed the injury and said it was the result of "repeated, forceful handshakes and the use of aspirin." The injury first appeared in July but was covered with foundation. Press Secretary Caroline Levitt also released a statement, reiterating the handshake claim. "President Trump is a people's man and he meets and shakes hands with more Americans every day than any other president in history. His commitment is unwavering and he proves it every day," Levitt said.
Trump suffers from chronic venous insufficiency
According to White House physician Dr. Sean Barbella, Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, which is "a common condition in people over the age of 70." Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after photos and videos of the president went viral in July showing swelling in his lower legs.
