Thousands of lives have been lost in Gaza
The more than two-year war in Gaza has claimed thousands of lives. Trump's 20-point plan includes the complete release of hostages, a transfer of power from Hamas, the deployment of an international stabilization force, and the reconstruction of Gaza. Hamas has agreed to the release of hostages and a Palestinian transitional government, while Israel has promised to halt bombing. Trump thanked Arab and Islamic countries for their mediation. What are the highlights of the Gaza Peace Plan?
Trump's Gaza Peace Plan is a 20-point plan designed to bring peace to the region. Its first phase was recently agreed upon by Israel and Hamas. This peace plan includes the release of all hostages, a partial withdrawal of Israeli forces, immediate humanitarian aid (at least 400 trucks daily), making Gaza a terror-free zone, and granting amnesty to Hamas for surrendering their weapons and renouncing their rule. Initially, the Palestinian Technical Committee (under the supervision of Trump's Peace Board) will administer Gaza temporarily, but later it will be handed over to the Palestinian Authority. There is also a specific plan for Gaza's economic reconstruction.
