Katni, Katni SDM Pradeep Mishra took the lead to remove the stray animals roaming on the streets of Katni city. The SDM himself walked from Mission Chowk to the Collectorate office and drove away the stray cattle. During this, the officials and employees of the Municipal Corporation including the Tehsildar were also present with him. After the prohibitory order issued by the District Collector to remove stray animals from the roads, this action is being taken more strictly. But when there was no improvement, the SDM himself came out on the streets and was seen in action mode.

When a bull came in front of him on the way, the SDM himself stood in front of it and scared it away, during this he also appeared angry at the Haka gang and the Municipal Corporation employees. He reprimanded the officers for being negligent and said that if the responsibility is not fulfilled then strict action is certain. SDM Mishra said that the presence of cattle on the roads increases the risk of accidents and the common people are troubled. He directed the Municipal Corporation to catch stray animals regularly and ensure safe arrangements in the Kanj House. SDM Pradeep Mishra said that action is being taken to catch stray cattle on all rural and national highways of the district and FIRs are also being registered against the cattle owners who come to get them released. This initiative of the administration is being considered a solid step towards providing relief to the public. Now it has to be seen how long the Municipal Corporation is able to keep the roads free from stray cattle after this strictness.
