Neighbors Argued Over Milk Sales, Husband and Wife Beaten, Heads Broken with Sticks

Shajapur, A husband and wife were brutally beaten with sticks over milk sales in the city's Hat Maidan area. Both were injured in the incident. Both were treated at the district hospital. According to information received, Nirmal Jain, a resident of Hat Maidan, filed a report at the police station, stating that he runs a grocery and milk shop. When he arrived at the shop with milk around 7 a.m. on Thursday, his neighbors, Pradeep Jain and Parsmal Jain, arrived and began abusing him. They said, "We sell milk here, why do you sell it?" When he protested, Pradeep Jain picked up a stone and hit him on the head, while Parsmal Jain attacked him with a stick. During the altercation, Pradeep's wife, Meena Jain, also assaulted the complainant's wife, Mona Jain, who tried to intervene and pulled her down by her hair. Both husband and wife were injured in the attack. The head injuries began bleeding. Following the incident, the injured received treatment at the district hospital and then filed a report at the police station. According to the complainant, the accused threatened to kill him if he continued trading milk. The police have currently filed a case based on complaints from both parties.

Allegations of police failure to take appropriate action

Nirmal Jain, who was injured in the incident, alleges that the Kotwali police failed to take appropriate action and instead registered a case against the accused under general sections, despite the fact that the accused had conspired and planned to attack him with sticks and stones. Nirmal Jain is being treated at the district hospital for head injuries.
