More than 50 lakhs stolen from transport businessman's house, Police engaged in investigation

Katni, thieves broke into the empty house of a transport businessman in Gandhiganj area of the city and stole goods worth more than Rs 50 lakh. This big incident has created a sensation in the entire area. The stolen goods include 30 tola gold, Rs 5 lakh cash and 5 kg silver jewellery.
According to the information, transport businessman Anil Jain, a resident of Rawat Gali in Gandhiganj, had gone to Sagar with his family to his brother-in-law's house. During this time, thieves targeted his empty house. This morning when the neighbors saw the door of the house open, they informed the Jain family and the police.
The family members who reached the spot found that all the goods in the house were scattered and the cupboard was open. On investigation, it was found that 30 tola gold jewellery worth about Rs 30 lakh, Rs 5 lakh cash and 5 kg silver jewellery were missing from the house. The total theft is estimated to be between 50 and 60 lakh rupees.
As soon as the news of the incident was received, the Kotwali police team reached the spot. The police inspected the spot and started the investigation. Dog squad and fingerprint team were also called to collect evidence. Both the teams are closely investigating the house and the surrounding area.
