Indian culture reflected at The Doon Valley Public School on Diwali, Students gave captivating performances

Saharanpur, The Doon Valley Public School in Deoband, Deoband, celebrated Deepotsav with a grand cultural program.
The program was inaugurated with the offering of flowers and lighting of lamps before the idols of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, and Lord Shri Ram by School Director Anurag Singhal, Chairman Rajkishore Gupta, Manager Mrs. Suman Singhal, Principal Mrs. Seema Sharma, Quality Head (Core Group) N.D. Sharma, Quality Director Mrs. Archana Sharma, Vice Principal Tanuj Kapil, and Hardeep Singh. After a welcome song, the program began with an auspicious song. The students then soulfully sang the songs "Ram Drishta Bhi Hain" and "Rama-Rama Ratate-Ratate." The children of class 1 and 2 presented a wonderful dance performance based on Shri Ram Katha and Tanishka of class 5 presented a poem based on Diwali and Rivan and Parshvi presented a speech which made all the people present there clap. At the end of the program, a spectacular fireworks display was held. On this occasion, the Chairman of the school, Rajkishore Gupta, while wishing Happy Diwali, advised all the children to be careful while bursting fireworks. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Seema Sharma, while explaining the importance of festivals in Indian culture, told about the series of festivals of Diwali and inspired to follow the ideals of Lord Shri Ram. At the end of the program, gifts and sweets were distributed to all the teachers and staff and best wishes were given by the school.
