UP Police arrested father-son duo Golu Kumar Jaiswal and Bhushan Kumar Chaudhary from Ghodasahan, Motihari in a cyber fraud case linked to Chinese loan apps. Police allege they cheated people and sent Rs 101 crore abroad via cryptocurrency using Binance IDs, raising suspicion of terror funding. Laptops, phones, Aadhaar cards, and cash were seized.

Vaishali, UP Police has arrested father-son involved in cyber fraud from Ghodasahan in Motihari district bordering India-Nepal. It is alleged that both of them used to cheat through Chinese loaning app and send the money abroad by converting it into cryptocurrency. The possibility of terror funding is also being raised in this case.

The arrested accused are Golu Kumar Jaiswal, resident of Ghodasahan Veerta Chowk and his father Bhushan Kumar Chaudhary. Police have recovered a laptop, five Android mobile phones, seven Aadhar cards, 2650 Indian rupees and 100 Nepalese rupees from them.

SP of Balrampur (UP) said that a case of cyber fraud was registered on the complaint of a youth named Vikas Kumar. During the investigation, five people including the kingpin of the gang, Suspier, resident of Pathra English village of Nawada district, have already been arrested. Now, Ghodasahan's father-son duo, who were associated with Suspier's network, have also been arrested.

Police investigation has revealed that these two have sent about Rs 101 crore abroad using five Indian and one Nepalese Binance IDs. The maximum transaction has been done using Golu's ID, while the second largest amount has been transferred using his father Bhushan's ID. Investigation of the remaining three Indian IDs and one Nepalese ID is ongoing. Data has been sought from Binance for information about the Nepal account.

Golu Ghodasahan used to run a small banking and Fino company under the Central Bank, while his father Bhushan Chaudhary does fruit business. Local people say that in recent times, Golu has suddenly earned property worth crores. The police is now engaged in identifying other associates and exposing the network.
