Mineral Conclave organized in Katni, Investment proposals worth Rs 32,750 crore
Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated the first Mineral Conclave in Katni, highlighting investment opportunities worth ₹32,750 crore. Major groups like Singhal Business Group, Ramani Power, and Mahakaushal Group announced big projects. Katni and Panna will also get a new medical college on 25th August.

Katni, A grand Mineral Conclave was organized for the first time to promote mineral based industries in Katni district. The event was presided over by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Khajuraho MP, in-charge minister and MLAs from all four assemblies of the district were also present on this occasion. Talking to journalists, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that industrialists from not only the state but also the country participated in the event and also spoke about the immense possibilities regarding the mineral wealth of Katni.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the tremendous possibilities regarding the mineral sector in the state can be gauged from the fact that more than 2000 investment proposals have come forward so far. During the conclave, big industrialists gave new investment gifts to Katni, Singhal Business Group announced an investment of Rs 15 thousand crore, Ramani Power talked about investing 1850 crore, Mahakaushal Group has proposed an investment of 90 crore. So far, the total investment proposals have reached 32,750 crores, while the investment possibilities in the state are being said to be more than Rs 56,414 crore. This is the biggest record so far.
The CM said that integrated efforts are being made for the betterment of the state and the mineral industries will get direct benefit from the new policies. Along with this, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also said that Katni is going to get another big gift, on the coming 25th August, Katni and Panna districts will get the gift of medical college. This event of Katni can prove to be a historic milestone in the development of the state.
