Indecent Remarks Against PM's Mother Case, Darbhanga Court Rejects Rizvi, alias Raja's Bail Plea
Darbhanga Civil Court rejected the bail plea of Mohammad Rizvi alias Raja, accused of abusing PM Modi's mother during Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra in Atharbel Chowk. Rizvi remains in judicial custody, while main accused Congress leader Mohammad Naushad is still absconding. Police continue efforts to arrest him.

Darbhanga, On Tuesday, the Darbhanga Civil Court rejected the bail plea of Mohammad Rizvi, alias Raja, accused of abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother. Chief Judicial Magistrate Junaid Alam's court rejected the regular bail plea and stated that the accused will now have to file a bail application in the court of the Chief Sessions Judge.
Indecent remarks against the Prime Minister's mother were made from the stage of Congress leader Mohammad Naushad during Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra at Atharbel Chowk in Darbhanga. Following this, BJP District President Aditya Narayan Chaudhary filed an FIR number 243/25 at the Simri police station.
Following the registration of the FIR, police arrested co-accused Mohammad Rizvi, alias Raja, and produced him in court on August 29. The Chief Judicial Magistrate subsequently remanded him to judicial custody. He has been in jail since then. It is worth noting that the main accused in this case, Congress leader Mohammad Naushad, was also involved in the case. Naushad remains at large and police are continuing their efforts to arrest him.
