Former Deoband Municipal Council President Ziauddin Ansari passed away due to prolonged illness, Wave of mourning spread in the area

Deoband | Saharanpur, Ziauddin Ansari, who was the President of Deoband Municipal Council twice, passed away at the age of 68 in a hospital in Dehradun this morning due to prolonged illness. The news of his death sent a wave of mourning across Deoband city.

Ziauddin Ansari was a sociable person. He was active in Congress, BSP and SP in his long political life. Due to diabetes, his kidneys were not functioning properly for a long time and he had to undergo dialysis frequently. Ziauddin Ansari had a great influence in his Ansari and Teli community of Deoband. That is why the candidates of the parties contesting Lok Sabha and Assembly elections also tried to take his help. Deep condolences were expressed in the political and social circles of Deoband on his demise and a humble tribute was paid to him remembering his services.
The body of Ziauddin Ansari was buried late this evening. Former MP Fazlur Rehman Qureshi, current chairman Vipin Garg, Kuldeep Kumar, Inam Qureshi, Chaudhary Rajpal Singh and a large number of people from the area have expressed grief over his demise. On the other hand, the staff of Nagar Palika Parishad Devband observed two minutes of silence and prayed for the peace of his soul on the demise of Ziauddin Ansari. Devband Nagar Palika President Vipin Garg declared half-day holiday in the office today and went to the residence of former Nagar Palika President Ziauddin Ansari and expressed grief and condolences.
