District Magistrate Manish Bansal reviewed the ongoing construction works at Maa Shakumbhari Devi Shaktipeeth in Saharanpur, including entrance gate complex, footpath, tourism facilities, road lighting, parking, open air theater, murals, and landscaping. He instructed officials to complete the work on time with a focus on beautification and technical quality.

Saharanpur, a meeting was convened in the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Manish Bansal regarding the construction work being done at Maa Shakumbhari Devi Shaktipeeth. The District Magistrate reviewed the construction of Integrated Tourism Development Entrance Gate Complex located at Shakumbhari Devi premises, strengthening of footpath and development of tourism facilities in Siddhpeeth, road lighting, construction of toilet block and souvenir shop, landscaping, footpath, murals, sculptures, water foundation boundary wall, establishment of signage, construction of TFC, construction of parking, construction of open air theater. DM Manish Bansal gave instructions and said that all the work should be done keeping in mind the beautification. There should not be any kind of negligence in this. These should be done in a timely manner. The concerned department should issue NOC immediately. Complete the work quickly by coordinating with the implementing agency C&DS, PWD. Special attention should be paid to beautification of the sides. He expressed displeasure over the slow progress of the work. Along with this, the work should be strengthened technically. District Magistrate Manish Bansal directed that the District Tourism Officer should check the progress of the work by conducting on-site inspection at least twice a week. The work should be done on war footing by increasing the number of skilled workers as per requirement. Engineers of the implementing agency and the firm should be present at the work site regularly. On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, DFO Shubham Singh, XEN PWD Dharmendra Kumar, District Economics and Statistics Officer Amit Kumar and other concerned officers were present.
