Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal chaired a meeting in the Collectorate auditorium to review the department-wise progress of the Seva Pakhwada and other programs organized by Mission Shakti, scheduled from September 17th to October 2nd. DM Manish Bansal directed that all departments ensure better implementation of their work by involving women under Mission Shakti. All departments should innovate and ensure that the work done by their departments is visible. Officers should work with subordinates to develop action plans to maximize the use of available resources. All departments should also ensure their own publicity of the work done. Additionally, display the Mission Shakti logo on posters, banners, and hoardings in department offices. Sensitize all department employees about the work being done under Mission Shakti. In this meeting, they should showcase their department's schemes, including those that empower women. He directed the District Magistrate (DM), Manish Bansal, to submit daily action reports and to promote them widely through social, print, and electronic media. District Magistrate (DM), Manish Bansal, issued strict instructions to the District Panchayat Raj Officer (DPR) to maintain cleanliness in villages. He directed that a comprehensive action plan be developed and implemented in this regard. He also directed that seminars be held with women village heads under Mission Shakti and meetings of women village councils be held to discuss problems and suggestions related to women and girls. For information on bank-related matters, coordination should be held to empower women volunteers and village women. District Magistrate (DM), Manish Bansal, directed the Health Department to organize health camps at CHCs, PHCs, and Arogya Mandirs and invite public representatives. He directed that daily reports be submitted regarding the camps, including the number of tests conducted and the actions taken. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) informed that a mega camp will be held on September 28th, where testing facilities will be available in collaboration with the IMA. District Magistrate Manish Bansal directed the Child Development and Nutrition Department to ensure the availability of iron and folic acid and work to empower women by linking the department's schemes with Mission Shakti. The NRLM Department should plan bank visits for beneficiary groups, including BC Sakhis. For the progress of Sakhis, during festivals, Lakshmi-Ganesh idols, candles, lamps, and decorative items should be branded and packaged with department stickers, and these should be promoted and promoted positively. The Sports and Youth Welfare Department should organize seminars on drug de-addiction in schools and colleges and organize cultural programs. The Basic and Secondary Education Department should outline a 10-day program, providing self-defense training to girls. Along with financial literacy, digital literacy, and banking literacy, renowned women should be invited to visit schools to interact with students. The Secondary Education Department should organize debate and speech competitions. Additionally, a meeting of all schools should be held under the chairmanship of the Chief Development Officer for a painting competition. Each school should hold a painting competition with themes such as "Developed India," "Mission Shakti," "My Young India," or "Innovation." The top two students should be selected and awarded at a district-level competition. The Municipal Corporation was instructed to involve the construction department in the cleanliness drive so that cleaned areas can be barricaded and finished. The good work done in each ward should be publicized. In addition to the responsibilities assigned to the District Probation Officer, he should also assume the positions of the District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police, and other senior officials for a day to promote the schemes run by the department and encourage girls. Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Santosh Bahadur Singh, DFO Shubham Singh, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Praveen Kumar, DPRO Pradeep Kumar, and other relevant officials were present on the occasion.
