114-year-old Fauja Singh dies in a road accident, Car hits him outside his house

The world's oldest (114 years) and famous marathon runner Fauja Singh died in a road accident. According to the information, today when he was walking outside his house, a car hit him and fled from the spot. After which he fell on the road. Fauja Singh was brought to a private hospital in Jalandhar by his family for treatment. Where doctors declared him dead.
Fauja Singh is a retired marathon runner of Punjabi Indian origin. He has broken many world records in many age groups. His personal best time is 6 hours 2 minutes for the London Marathon (2003), and his marathon best time, which is claimed for the age group above 90, is 5 hours 40 minutes at the 2003 Toronto Waterfront Marathon, allegedly at the age of 92. Fauja Singh is also known in the world as Turbaned Tornado, Running Baba, Sikh Superman.

Fauja was born in Jalandhar, Punjab. Before settling in Britain, he used to work as a farmer in India. After living in Britain for so many years, he spoke only Punjabi instead of Hindi or English. He regretted that he could not speak or write English.
Could not walk till the age of five
