'You are behaving like a road in Parliament', Om Birla furious at opposition MPs in Lok Sabha
On the third day of the Monsoon Session, opposition MPs created a ruckus in Lok Sabha over the Bihar voter list. Speaker Om Birla warned the MPs against road-like behavior and displaying placards, urging them to maintain the dignity of Parliament.

New Delhi. On the third day of the monsoon session on Wednesday (July 23), opposition leaders created a ruckus in the Lok Sabha House on the issue of voter list in Bihar. After which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed displeasure and told the opposition MPs that you are behaving like a road in Parliament too. Let us tell you that at the beginning of the third day of the House, the opposition MPs came to the well with placards and started shouting slogans loudly. During this, the Lok Sabha Speaker also warned of action on showing placards in the House.
Road-like behavior in Parliament
Let us tell you that as soon as the Lok Sabha House started, all the opposition MPs including Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi started creating ruckus against the ongoing special intensive revision of the voter list in Bihar. This protest continued even when the proceedings of Parliament started at 11 am. During this, the opposition MPs reached inside the well in the Lok Sabha with posters and placards and started creating ruckus. After which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla got angry and warned, 'I want to say again that I will have to take decisive action against those who come to the House with placards.'
The country is watching your behavior
The Lok Sabha Speaker expressed displeasure and further said, 'Parliament is the institution of our glorious democracy. Everyone is requested to maintain the dignity of behavior, conduct and working methods inside the Parliament premises. The people of the country have sent you to discuss their voice, problems, country's issues and policies. You are behaving like a street person in Parliament. The whole country is watching this. If you are honorable, then behave like an honorable person.'
