NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting

The leaders of the parties involved in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) felicitated PM Modi during the parliamentary party meeting today. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh felicitated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of all the people for running Operation Sindoor against terrorism. PM Modi will also address all the NDA MPs. This first meeting of the leaders of the parties involved in the NDA during the monsoon session of Parliament is being considered very important. Prime Minister Modi praised Amit Shah in the NDA meeting and said that he has now become the longest serving Union Home Minister.

A resolution was also passed in the meeting

A resolution was also passed in the NDA meeting regarding the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the Indian Army's Operation Sindoor in response to it. In this, the NDA parliamentary party saluted the bravery and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces during 'Operation Sindoor' and 'Operation Mahadev'. Let us tell you that Operation Sindoor was a heinous and cowardly terrorist attack by Pakistan-backed terrorist organization The Resistance Front (TRF) in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April this year. The NDA resolution said that 26 innocent tourists were brutally killed on the basis of religion in the Pahalgam terror attack.

PM Modi's resolution against terrorism

The resolution said, after the cowardly act of terrorists in Pahalgam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a strong message against terrorism from the soil of Bihar on 24 April. He said that India will identify and punish the terrorists and their supporters. Under this resolution, 'Operation Sindoor' was launched on the intervening night of 6-7 May. It was a precise and limited military operation, in which nine terrorist hideouts were targeted in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Mention of the symbolic importance of 'Sindoor' in Indian culture

The MPs included in the NDA praised Prime Minister Modi's decisive leadership style, foresight and his resolve of 'New India' against terrorism in this resolution. According to this resolution, the Army's Operation Sindoor got special support from women. Its name also shows the symbolic importance of 'Sindoor' in Indian culture. The terrorists snatched the husband and honor of women, for which the army took revenge.

Pakistan was exposed across the world
All the parties and leaders included in the ruling coalition also underlined that during the tenure of Prime Minister Modi, there was an emphasis on defense reform, indigenization and promotion of use of drone technology. This also helped in the success of Operation Sindoor. Apart from this, the foreign tour of the all-party delegation was also mentioned in the resolution. It said that by sending 59 MPs to 32 countries under the leadership of PM Modi, India's anti-terrorism position was strongly placed on global forums. Along with this, Pakistan, a safe haven for terrorists, was also exposed in front of the whole world.

Resolve to build a developed, secure and peaceful India

At the end of the resolution, it was said that the US has declared TRF a global terrorist organization. The BRICS conference also condemned double standards against terrorism. This is a symbol of India's diplomatic victory and global influence. NDA MPs also resolved to continue their efforts towards building a developed, secure and peaceful India.

Meeting being held in Bihar amid SIR of voter list

In fact, this meeting is taking place at a time when work is not being done in both the houses due to the uproar of the opposition on the issue of voter list Special Intensive Revision (SIR). All NDA MPs have been asked to be compulsorily present in the meeting to be held in GMC Balayogi Auditorium. It is worth noting that a two-day special discussion has been completed in both the houses of Parliament last week on Operation Sindoor. During the discussion, while the opposition questioned the government over the sudden ceasefire, it also demanded to fix responsibility for the security lapse in the Pahalgam terrorist attack case.

Speculation of a big decision on Jammu and Kashmir

Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah met the President on Sunday. Since then, the market of speculation is hot. On August 5, 2019, the government introduced a bill to convert Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories along with the repeal of Article 370. Now, with the NDA parliamentary meeting on August 5, there are discussions whether the government is going to take a decision on giving back the status of a full state to Jammu and Kashmir.
