Major accident in Jodhpur: Tempo-traveler rams into roadside trailer 15 dead, 2 injured
A tragic accident in Phalodi, Jodhpur killed 15 devotees returning from Kolayat as a tempo-traveler hit a parked trailer. CM Bhajan Lal Sharma ordered urgent treatment and a green corridor for injured victims.
Jodhpur, A major road accident occurred in Jodhpur. A tempo-traveler rammed into a truck-trailer parked on the roadside in Matoda, Phalodi district. Fifteen people were killed and two injured in the accident. Devotees were reportedly returning to Jodhpur after visiting Kolayat when their tempo-traveler met with the accident.
CM expresses grief over the accident
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed deep grief over the road accident in Phalodi, Jodhpur. The Chief Minister directed the Collector, SP, and officials over the phone to immediately create a green corridor to transport the injured to the hospital. He also directed them to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured.
Accident on Bharat Mala Highway
District Collector Shweta Chauhan reported that an accident occurred on the Bharat Mala Highway. A tempo-traveler coming from Kolayat, Bikaner, rammed into a trailer parked on the road from behind. Fifteen people died and two were injured in the accident. All the bodies have been deposited in the mortuary of the government hospital in Osian. The injured have also been referred to Jodhpur for treatment.
