A program was organized today at Prerna Sthal in Naseerpur village to mark the 11th death anniversary of the late Sanjay Singh Chauhan, a popular leader and former MP from the Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor Lok Sabha constituency. A havan (fire sacrifice) was performed and he was remembered with floral tributes. His supporters and many people from the political and social fields gathered to remember the late leader and pay tribute to him. Chandan Chauhan, son of Bijnor MP Sanjay Singh Chauhan, expressed his emotional sentiments while remembering his father. He said that he cannot fill his void in any way. MP Chandan Chauhan said, "My father was my guru. I will always keep his name alive within me by following his path, uniting everyone, and leading us on the path of development." Recalling the teachings of his father, he said, "Father taught us that a leader is a human being first. Whenever I help a poor person, it feels as if my father is standing with me. His teachings drive me forward every day. I will not let that legacy weaken under any circumstances."
