India will deploy '52 eyed eagle' in space, even if China-Pak move, the army will get data
After Operation Sindoor, India is set to launch 52 surveillance satellites under the $3.2B SBS-III program by 2029. The initiative aims to strengthen real-time monitoring of coastal and land borders, with ISRO and private firms leading satellite deployment.
3. Who will build the satellites
Under this program, ISRO will build and launch the first 21 satellites, while private companies will operate the remaining 31 satellites. The Defence Space Agency (DSA) will oversee the operations of the newly launched satellite system.
