'34 human bombs roaming in Mumbai, will shake the whole city with explosions...', Threat from Lashkar-e-Jihadi, country's financial capital on high alert
Mumbai Police is on high alert after a threatening call claimed 34 human bombs and 400 kg RDX planted in vehicles across the city by Lashkar-e-Jihadi. The threat came ahead of Anant Chaturdashi, prompting heightened security. Earlier, a man was arrested for a fake bomb threat in Thane’s Kalwa railway station.

Police is on high alert after receiving a threatening call. The caller claimed that 34 human bombs have been planted in Mumbai to shake the whole city. This threatening call came on the traffic police helpline. Mumbai Police gave this information on Friday.
400 kg RDX in 34 vehicles, claim
Mumbai Police said that this threat was issued by an organization called Lashkar-e-Jihadi on the eve of Anant Chaturdashi. Also, security has been increased across the state. Police said that the threatening message claimed that 34 cars carrying human bombs would be used to explode 400 kg RDX, killing one crore people.
Earlier this week on Monday, a 43-year-old man was arrested for allegedly making a fake bomb threat call to blow up a railway station in Maharashtra's Thane district. The Government Railway Police (GRP) said the accused, identified as Rupesh Madhukar Ranpise, called the police helpline number around 4 pm on Sunday and said he had planted a bomb at the Kalwa railway station.
