A few days ago, an incident took place in ROH depot due to the negligence of the responsible officers, not even long after this incident, a big accident happened today on Sunday morning at around 9.30 am. According to the information received from railway sources, repair work was to be done by lifting the wagon upwards with a crane in the Carriage and Wagon ROH shed of NKJ today on Sunday morning at 9.30 am. During this, suddenly the wire of the crane broke, which caused a big accident. The wagon fell down due to the breaking of the wire of the crane. It was fortunate that there was no employee there at that time, otherwise a big accident could not have been ruled out. This sudden incident created panic in the shed as well as in NKJ. The senior officials of the division and zone were also informed about the incident. Due to this incident, the anger of the employees against the depot management is being seen once again. The employees say that unnecessary pressure is exerted on the supervisors and employees by the DME, whereas before the start of the work, the maintenance of the crane is done by M&P. Now that too has been stopped, due to which a risky situation persists every day. This incident has somewhere put a question mark on the safety of the employees.
