Let us tell you that Raja Raghuvanshi of Indore was murdered in Shillong on 23 May. Police had earlier arrested wife Sonam, her lover Raj Kushwaha, Anand Kurmi, Akash Rajput and Vishal alias Vicky Chauhan. Currently, all are in Shillong jail. Since Sonam came to Indore on 25 May after the murder, she stayed in the flat of Lokendra Singh Tomar in the name of Vishal Chauhan of Hirabagh, Dewas Naka from 31 May to 8 June, which was rented from property broker Silom Gems. While leaving, she had left a black trolley bag in the flat. She had left an illegal pistol, five lakh rupees, laptop and Raja and her own jewellery in the bag. These were disposed of in connivance with Lokendra Singh Tomar, Silom Gems guard Ballu alias Balveer.
Police arrested all three and took them on six days transit remand and took them to Shillong by flight on 25 June. However, before this, on the information given by Lokendra and Silom, the pistol thrown by Shilom after burning the bag after making it disappear was recovered from behind the drain of Industry House. Since the stolen jewellery and Sonam's laptop were not found from the bag, a three-member team of Shillong police once again reached Indore late last evening. Shilom James was also with them. The team reached the Crime Branch police station directly at around 8 pm. After their arrival, a four-member team led by SI Amit Katiyar from the police station reached Shillom's house located at MR-3 (between Mahalakshmi Nagar and Tulsi Nagar) near Sun City in a private taxi and police vehicle. There the women of Shillom's house tried to argue with the Shillong police. During this, Shillong police entered her house with Shillom. Two policemen stood outside. After this, the team stayed inside for about an hour. The team left from here at around 10 pm and returned to the Crime Branch police station. It is being told that Shillong police did not find anything during the search, but Shilom told that she had hidden the jewellery in Ratlam. The team can take her to Ratlam today.
