Damoh, According to the calendar prepared by the Sweep Committee, an intensive contact campaign was conducted in the urban indifferent and migrating villages to make the voters aware to vote compulsorily on 17 November 2023 in the upcoming assembly elections. This campaign was carried out under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Arpit Verma. This awareness campaign was conducted under the theme “Become the destiny maker of the country, now wake up the young voters”.
In the programme, villages with urban apathy and migration have been identified in the four assemblies of Damoh district, where people turn out to vote due to apathy and migration. To make them aware, various types of activities have been carried out by secretaries and women Anganwadi workers. Was organised. In which through rangoli, mehndi, rally and door-to-door public contact, people were given the message to compulsorily go to their booth center and vote on 17 November 2023.
For this, Assistant Nodal Officer Sweep Dr. K.P. is playing an active role in the Sweep Committee. Ahirwar, National Service Scheme District Organization, Dr. Jitendra Kumar Choudhary, Siddharth Jaurkar and Saurav Khare, by continuously organizing various programs, played an important role in building a healthy democracy by increasing the voting percentage and removing apathy towards voting.
