Motihari, villagers from Chatiya Diyara of Malahi police station area caught a stray deer on Sunday morning and handed it over to the police. Police informed the forest department about the caught deer. On receiving the news, the senior officials of the forest department along with the staff took the deer in custody and took it with them for medical examination. It is being told that on Sunday morning the deer was lying in an abandoned condition in Chatiya Diyara. Seeing this, the villagers caught the deer and informed the police about it. Police reached the spot and handed over the deer to the forest department. The deer weighed about 10 kg and was completely healthy. This was confirmed by SHO Vineet Kumar.
