Patna. Keeping in mind the convenience of thousands of candidates appearing for the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment Exam, the East Central Railway (ECR) and Samastipur Railway Division have made special arrangements. To manage the expected crowds during the exam and facilitate the movement of candidates, the Railways have announced the operation of several exam special trains. Additionally, the operation period of 11 summer special and clone trains has been extended due to the increased demand from passengers traveling to and from Bihar from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and other states.

Special Trains to Run for the Exam

Heavy crowds at railway stations and bus terminals are common during competitive exams in Bihar. In view of this, the Railways has ensured the operation of special exam special trains on various rail sections including Gaya, Kiul, Nawada, Samastipur, Patna, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Bettiah, Siwan, and Hajipur, so that candidates can reach the examination center on time and do not face any travel problems.

The major exam special trains operating on July 12 are as follows:

03218 Supaul–Madhubani Exam Special: Departs at 2:00 pm and will reach Madhubani via Jhanjharpur and Sakri.

03213 Bettiah–Siwan Exam Special: Departs at 2:00 pm and will proceed to Siwan via Bapudham Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, and Chhapra.

03219 Sitamarhi–Bettiah Exam Special: Departs at 2:00 pm and will arrive in Bettiah via Raxaul.
03215 Madhubani–Hajipur Exam Special: Departs at 2:00 pm and arrives at Hajipur via Darbhanga, Samastipur, and Muzaffarpur.

03216 Muzaffarpur–Siwan Exam Special: Departs at 2:00 pm and arrives at Siwan via Hajipur and Chhapra.

03217 Samastipur–Patliputra Exam Special: Departs at 2:00 pm and arrives at Patliputra via Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Sonpur, and Chhapra.

03214 Darbhanga–Barauni Exam Special: Departs at 2:00 pm and arrives at Barauni via Laheriasarai and Samastipur.

03220 Muzaffarpur–Bettiah Exam Special: Departs at 2:00 pm and arrives at Bettiah via Bapudham Motihari.

Special arrangements have also been made for returning home after the exam.

The Railways has made arrangements not only for candidates' access to the examination center but also for their safe and smooth return after the exam. Under this scheme, the 03211 Gaya-Kiul Exam Special will depart from Gaya at 5:45 pm and will reach Kiul at 9:45 pm via Wazirganj, Tilaiya, Nawada, Warisliganj, and Sheikhpura.

In addition, other exam special trains will also operate as scheduled:

03206 Kiul-Gaya Exam Special: Departs Kiul at 1:30 pm and arrives in Gaya at 5:30 pm.

03207 Nawada-Gaya Exam Special: Departs Nawada at 1:45 pm and arrives in Gaya at 5:45 pm.
03202 Patna–Bhabua Road Exam Special: Departing from Patna at 11:00 pm, it will reach Bhabua Road at 4:00 am via Taregana, Jehanabad, Gaya, Dehri-on-Sone, and Sasaram.

Extension of 11 Summer Special and Clone Trains

Samastipur Division Public Relations Officer (PRO) R.K. Singh stated that in view of the ever-increasing passenger traffic between Delhi and Bihar, the operation period of several popular summer special and clone trains has been extended. This will provide significant relief to working professionals, students, migrant workers, and other travelers.

The major trains with extended service periods are:

02563 Barauni–New Delhi Clone Special: Daily until July 31.
02564 New Delhi–Barauni Clone Special: Daily until August 1.
02569 Darbhanga–New Delhi Clone Special: Daily until July 31.
02570 New Delhi–Darbhanga Clone Special: Every day until August 1.
05219 Muzaffarpur–Anand Vihar Special: Every Friday until July 31.
05220 Anand Vihar–Muzaffarpur Special: Every Saturday until August 1.
05579 Purnia Court–Anand Vihar Special: Every Friday and Sunday until July 31.
05580 Anand Vihar–Purnia Court Special: Every Sunday and Tuesday until August 2.
05575 Saharsa–Anand Vihar Special: Every Tuesday until July 28.
05576 Anand Vihar–Saharsa Special: Every Thursday until July 30.
09045 Udhna–Madhubani Special: Every Sunday until July 26.
09046 Madhubani–Udhna Special: Every Monday until July 27.

Railways believes that these additional services will reduce passenger pressure during the examination period and provide easy and convenient travel to both candidates and regular passengers.
