Katni, Police has arrested a youth who kept country made bombs on the farm roads for wild animals in Vijayraghavgarh of Katni district. According to the information given by the accused, 31 pieces of pig killer bombs have also been seized. Vijayaraghavgarh police has registered a crime against the accused. The accused had laid bombs killing pigs to hunt wild animals, due to which a buffalo also died.

Police of Vijayraghavgarh told that the villager of Hathera village had informed in dial 100 that his buffalo had gone for grazing and when he was returning with the cattle, the buffalo ate the explosive substance lying on the way due to which he died. Jaw dropped. The buffalo reached home bleeding and died after some time. As soon as information about this matter was received, Vijayraghavgarh police station in-charge Inspector Anup Singh Thakur informed the senior officers and on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan, he formed a police team and himself reached the spot. BDS help was also taken by the police. The police station in-charge also cautioned the villagers not to go to the place where the incident took place. When the police reached the spot, they found some pig killing bombs lying there too, which were defused by the bomb squad team. After this, upon investigation, it was found that Jalkunwar Pardhi, father of Bhanu Pardhi, resident of Khalandha, was seen coming towards the place where the crude bombs were kept. The police, acting proactively, caught the said person on the basis of suspicion and interrogated him, during which at first he tried to mislead the police, but the police continued to interrogate him strictly, during which he confessed to his crime. The station in-charge said that when the police searched the house of the accused, some material for making explosive substances was found there. After this, the police conducted intensive interrogation and after that several pig killer bombs were recovered from the information given by the accused. The station in-charge said that a total of 31 bombs have been recovered and a crime has been registered against the accused under Section 5 Explosives Act and 429 Indian Penal Code. According to the police, if the police had not reached the spot in time and the bombs had not been picked up by killing the pigs, then the possibility of some untoward incident could not have been ruled out.
